GPH Maternal Health Workshop with Saving Mothers

April 15
2-3pm
708 Broadway, Room 301

Join us during Black Maternal Health Week for a Maternal Health Workshop with Saving Mothers!

Saving Mothers is a global nonprofit working to improve maternal healthcare so more women survive pregnancy and childbirth. They support healthcare providers, expand access to safe delivery resources, run public health programs, and work with communities and health systems around the world—including Kenya, Guatemala, Uganda, the Dominican Republic, and New York City.

Learn why maternal health matters—globally, over 300,000 women die each year from pregnancy-related complications, many of which are preventable. During the workshop you can:

  • Learn about global maternal health
  • Ask questions and engage in discussion
  • Make a bracelet while you participate
  • Enjoy free pizza

Open to all GPH students. Come learn, connect, and support better maternal health outcomes!
