On November 12, 2025, the NYU ISEE Lab, in partnership with the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity, spearheaded the Sickle Cell Disease: 115 Years Later Symposium to unite clinicians, researchers, and advocates in addressing systemic funding and care disparities for Sickle Cell Disease while charting a path toward equitable, patient-centered change
